Design Approval Process
For custom orders and personalized items, we provide design mockups or samples for your approval before production. This agreement outlines the approval process and your responsibilities.
Review Timeline
- Design mockup provided within 3-5 business days
- You have 48 hours to review and respond
- Delayed responses may impact delivery timeline
- After 72 hours of no response, we may proceed with production
- For rush orders, shortened review windows (24 hours) apply
What We Need From You
When reviewing your design mockup, please check:
- All text is spelled correctly and matches your request
- Colors match your preference
- Layout and composition are acceptable
- Personalization details (names, dates, etc.) are accurate
- Size, orientation, and proportions are correct
- Any special elements or additions are present
How to Respond
Reply to the design email with one of the following:
- Approved: "I approve this design – proceed with production"
- Changes Requested: List specific changes needed
- Rejected: Explain why and request redesign
Be clear and specific. Vague responses may delay your order.
Revision Policy
- First design: Included in your quote
- Revisions 1-2: Included in your quote
- Revisions 3+: $25-$50 per revision
- Major redesigns: May incur additional fees
- Revisions based on original request errors: Free
- Revisions based on new requests: Charged per revision
Your Responsibility Upon Approval
By approving a design, you confirm that:
- You have reviewed the entire design carefully
- All text, colors, and specifications are correct
- The design meets your expectations
- You have the authority to approve this design
- No further changes will be requested after production begins
- You accept responsibility for any errors in your request
Production After Approval
Once you approve the design, production begins immediately. Changes requested after approval:
- During production: May not be possible; additional fees apply
- Before production starts: Free if within 1 hour of approval
- After production is complete: Cannot be changed; item as approved will be delivered
- If approved-but-wrong is unacceptable, remake available at 50% off cost
No Approval Within Timeframe
If we do not receive approval or revision requests within 72 hours (48 hours for rush orders), we will proceed with production based on the submitted design. You will be notified, but we may not wait for further confirmation.
Design Ownership
Designs created specifically for your order are owned by you upon full payment. We do not use custom designs for other customers or purposes without permission. Standard designs and templates remain our property.
Disputes About Approval
If you claim you did not approve a design, we will verify email records. Email approval is legally binding. Claimed disputes after production has begun cannot result in refunds, but we will work with you to resolve issues where possible.
Your Waiver of Liability
You acknowledge that you are responsible for reviewing design mockups thoroughly. We are not liable for:
- Typos or spelling errors in approved designs
- Color differences in final product vs. digital mockup
- Sizing differences due to screen display variations
- Changes of mind after approval
- Misunderstanding of approved specifications
It is your responsibility to ensure the mockup is exactly as you want it before approval.
Quality Match Guarantee
If the finished product does not match the approved design, we will remake the item at no cost. "Match" means the design, layout, text, and general appearance are as approved. Minor variations in color, texture, or finish are normal and not considered mismatches.
